Washers Game: A Great American Game

The washers game is one of the great American games of all time. This game is similar to the horseshoes games. This game consists of two or more players. You need washers. It is s round metallic washer with 2.5” in diameter with a 1” center hole. It is recommended that your washers should be in bright colors especially when playing in wooden or grassy areas.

All washers that will be used in this game should be with the same weight and thickness. You also need cups, when playing you need to have two pits to put the recessed cups as a target. But the best thing to use as cups for this game is thick – walled PVC of the same dimensions. Use white or light colored PVC so it is easy for the player to see it as their target. Lastly, you need pits to put in your cups and an aid for the scoring and will hold the cups on its places. This is a simple yet fun game to play with friends and family.

Important knowledge

I've managed to learn some of the great important knowledge that I managed to learn in college is to be on time to things and to be humble, and to do my work. I learned that I really don’t know everything although sometimes I might think I do and that there are always people smarter than me and better educated than me. I also learned that there are many different types of people in the world and that I’ve met a lot of different people from different backgrounds in such a short time period. This has really been quite an amazing experience in my life.

Things I Really Miss

There are a lot of things that I miss as a kid, but one thing that I really miss is being able to go on kiddie rides at the fair. I really miss being able to do all of the little kid rides because they seemed so scary at the time but they really weren’t. I also miss being able to have things like nap time in kindergarten and being able to just run around without having any worries or responsibilities. I liked having class pets in classes and being able to just read for fun. I missed the accelerated reader program, which gave us points to spend on prizes when we read.

Dancing in the Kitchen

A very memorable part of my life is growing up with my sister and playing games with her and dancing around in the kitchen to music on the radio with her. We’re very close and grew up close together. I remember especially making up dance moves and just being able to laugh with her and sing along to the songs really badly. We’re basically the best of friends, and she says that she misses dancing around to the radio with me too. We’d have the most fun trying to slide around on the floor in our socks and falling down.

Bean Bag Toss Scoring Rules

Are you familiar with the bean bag toss game? This is an outdoor game that can be played by a group. You need to have a cornhole board in the far or the playing area end and bean bags that you will be tossing to make a score. The mechanics of the game is to shoot the bean bags into the hole to make a score or the bean bag should land on the board. If the bean bag shoots into the hole, that is worth three points, and if it only lands on the board that is worth one point. Any player who reaches twenty one points first wins the game.

So, make sure that you shoot the bean bag on the hole to get three points. The more bean bags you shoot into the hole the higher pints you get. This requires focus and concentration as well as technique and skills. Practice could help you get your pulse and aim right.

Skills Develop Through Playing Games

Various skills can be developed through playing traditional games such as board games or even washers game. Games played in groups are more likely to develop some skills. Teamwork and cooperation is one. Since a game is played by a team, it is likely that everyone will learn how to cooperate in order to win and even respect each others ideas and strategies on how they can be successful. Responsibility is another skill that can be developed. Most games have rules to follow so everyone will be responsible to follow every regulation and even take care of materials for the game.

Favorate Job

I had gone for many jobs in my life such as data entry, medical transcription, craft works, embroidery, and tailoring.  The job which I like most was medical transcription.  I did transcription as a home based one.  It is a very interesting field and easy to managing both my family and work.  It is enough to spend 6 to 7 hours a day so that we can earn a reasonable salary that is enough to manage a family.  After coming to this field I used to learn different accents of English.  Also now I came to know many kind of illnesses, their symptoms, etcetera.  I reccommend this job for home makers.

Games Not Only Beneficial For Kids But Adults As Well

Most of us might have a mindset that games are only for kids to play. Adults can also join kids at some cases and it can be equally beneficial for both. First of all, the relationship with kids can heighten because parents are able to participate and assist their children all throughout. Bean bag toss is one that can be good for both adults and kids. Through games, we can also stay connected with relatives. Even though there are technologies today such as social networking sites as well as interactive computer games, we should see to it that once in a while, we enjoy playing traditional games with kids.

The Sound of Music

Music is the silent companion of mine. I wake up with music and I go to bed with music. In short, music and I are inseparable! I love listening to all kind of music which has a lyric in it. I consider music as a body and the lyrics as the soul of that body; or may be vice-versa. Both these are incompatible without each other. Starting from Bryan Adams to Ricky Martin to Rahman, I love them all. But today, I found a bit encroachment in the real music. The sound of music is slowly overpowered with music created by machines only, no lyrics! I hesitate to call them music, because there are no lyrics in it!

A Home Away From Home

The farthest distance, I have traveled so far is to the city of Mumbai. When, I was young, I saw a lot of Bollywood movies that portray the city of Mumbai as the dream place, the place surrounding by sea! When, I grew up, I have decided to move myself to my dream city, looking for a job. I heard everyone saying, this is the city which makes everyone’s dream come true. I too, came to Mumbai with loads of dream in my eye. I started working as an executive in a small company. Then slowly, I keep on going up in the ladder of success. And finally, today my dream was on the verge turning into real. I have started a company of my own!
